Start Ups – Good to know

You have a really good business concept and want to translate it into practice? In the past few years, a number of exceptionally successful start-ups were founded at the University of Mannheim. We have compiled all the important events and points of contact for the entrepreneurs of tomorrow.

Who can help me?

Your business concept is the first step. There are a number of organizations within the University of Mannheim as well as institutions associated with the University that can help you put your idea into practice.

The Mannheim Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation supports all students of the University of Mannheim in establishing a start-up through helpful tips, an own start-up network, and a number of events. There you can also find information about financing and promotion possibilities for start-ups.

The IHK (Chamber of Industry and Commerce) offers support and consulting for people who are planning a start-up. If you are still in the initial phase of your start-up, we can recommend the information events of the IHK. Taking part is free of charge and does not require signing up.
